Quick thoughts:
- Murderbot feeling nervous around Mensah was adorable af.
- It's also so neat to see the full scale of how much he's changed; both physically and emotionally.
- Also an interesting series to have been reading along the same time as Vauhini Vara's Searches and AI in reality and AI in fiction.
- The way Murderbot is not human but also built by humans (tbf, for a very specific, not really great purpose), also consuming human-made media, emulating humanness for safety, and so again: is not human but is maybe less not-human than he was at the start of all this.
- But also: sci-fi is fun! Murderbot is great! Gonna take a break before moving on to the next in the series, but love engaging with sci-fi again.
