Sadie by Courtney Summers

I still loved the way this one read in terms of an audiobook. It felt very immersive - they even used a background sound for places like the local diner and when being interviewed at home (a quiet clock would be ticking in the background like you were sitting in a living room or at a kitchen table). Each character had their own voice actor, and were very distinct. The mystery kept me guessing for the most part and it was worth listening to!

The cons would be that I didn't like most of the characters, and I felt that there were a couple of plot holes that could have been fixed and need to be fixed in order to make more sense. I still can't figure out if I like Sadie, or even Mattie, which is a relatively big issue since the book is literally named after them (lol whoops).

I might try and re-listen to this one day soon and see if maybe I just wasn't paying attention enough, given that I had listened to it during a very busy week at work.
