Hmm 🤔
That word keeps running through my head now that I have finished book 1 of Bloodwing Academy.
So many questions. This was expected, it is the first book in a series, after all.
But throughout the book I kept thinking of the prologue and what it stated. It didn't seem like a prologue to me it seemed like an epilogue. It was a sort of teaser. If you are starting to read the book  and don't like spoilers I recommend you skip it because you know what is coming.
The amount of times I read the name Blake Drakharrow is ridiculous! His full name was mentioned 96 times! I mean I get it that's his name but ugh 🙄. Anyways Blake the MMC is a vampire and discovers the FMC Medra Pendragon, yes of the Arthur line, on a pile of dead bodies. She is immediately escorted to his Uncle "the king" of vampires and immediately betrothed.
This cat and mouse game continues for the entire book. Medra used to be all powerful in her other world but here she is the timid little mouse. Even though she doesn't act like it. All the vampires think this is crazy, a human or blightborn is talking back to them, fighting them, and trying to act like they are equals. It is an interesting academy setting and I did love the story of the two and how their relationship unfolds. I hope for more scenes of Blake because I really do think he cares for Medra just is unsure how to show it.
