I've read two of Mark Edwards other books. They were both very good.
This one is as well.
Sophia doesn't make for a very likable protagonist. Maybe it was just me?
But that's OK.
You don't have to like her to become engrossed in who is trying to ruin her.
I figured out who the shadowy female figure was.
But, it was gripping and suspenseful nonetheless.
