welp I finally found a Tessa Bailey book that I absolutely adored. After not one, not two but three (!!!!) attempts with her books, I picked up IHOS because, yes, Booktok shoved this recommendation down my throat more times than I can count and MAN AM I GLAD THEY DID.
Normally not a fan of alpha characters in romance but the way Brendan was written, the way he SIMPED for Piper was delectable. “Spoiling you makes my dick hard” I mean !!!!! The only men we root for in this household are the men that simp for their partners and that’s that on that.
As for Piper, she was a socialite yes, but her character was written so incredibly well - not two dimensional and vapid but absolutely rich in depth to her personality and her insecurities. She was an absolute delight to root for.
Eagerly awaiting Hannah and Fox’s story now!
