I am so angry. Angry and ashamed. Why is none of this taught in Canada’s schools? I knew none of this until today. When we learn about racism in Canada, we learn that it’s an American problem. This book exposes that egregious lie. We have to do better – and in order to do better, first we have to learn. This is a great place to start.
Graphic: Racism, Gaslighting, Colonisation, and Deportation
Moderate: Confinement, Racial slurs, Sexual violence, Slavery, Transphobia, Forced institutionalization, Police brutality, and Classism
