The Plains of Passage by Jean M. Auel
3.0

Too many examples of why these books are not well written. Just so I remember, they are: repetitive are dialog is overwritten. But this particular book could have been two... some developments in the plot might have fared better with a little more show and a little less tell. All that said, still the setting is so well done. Just found a referent for the burial from the prior book. Was excavated not long ago.

And this is all the more reason that social networks ask for taste - did I like it, versus was it good. Maybe that's why they are still so poor at predicting. Cause everyone has comfort food.
