Type of read: Commuter Read.
What made me pick it up: My book club made me do it, and I'm a huge Peter Pan girlie.
Overall rating: Gahhhhhhhh. I think I need to stop reading reimagined stories of Peter Pan. I am continually disappointed. Personally, none of this story made sense. It tried too hard, there were weird accents (I listened to the audio version), the thought process behind the tense Hook and Wendy kidnapping and near torture where he thinks that she's betrayed him scene doesn't make sense, and we find ourselves again with a book that could use a really good editor. Definitely not the worst that I've read, but it's not good. I don't see myself continuing the series.
