This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi novels of all time. The author has some unsavory views about the LGBTQ community irl, but they do not bleed into this work. This is an interesting philosophical look into what it means to be the chosen one, and how it effects someone, especially a child. I highly recommend reading this book, just don't pay money for it.
