Damn, this book is weird and I have no regrets. The blurb in no way prepares you for what is to come. For most of the characters, strange is an understated expression and at the beginning I had to gasp for air. The book reads like a collection of short stories, linked by the setting at Mount Copenhagen. I must say that the book exceeded my expectations, as well as surprising and shocking me numerous times. At some point you accept the bizarreness of the stories as book-internal reality, but this does not save you from further surprises.
