I laughed out loud while reading Hyperbole and a Half earlier this year. I didn’t laugh so much with this book but I felt that I related to the writer even more. Our experiences are not identical but many of the emotions are. For some reason I felt hopeful that things will if not get better at least maybe won’t get worse. 
 
I still don’t totally vibe with the art style but it goes with the words well. 
 
A note: the r word is not used in this book.
