Noragami, Band 1
by Adachitoka
A mysterious man in a tracksuit, a dead boy and a half dead teenage girl.
I watched the anime around five years ago, but never picked up the manga despite being dead inside after that cliffhanger.
Yato is a god. More precisely, a god who carries out contracts and will do anything for money. Now, that sounds greedy. How much, do you ask? Why, he asks five yen.

This track-suit touting, blue-eyed slouch is much more than he appears. Unlike other gods, he has no shrine dedicated to him and no worshippers. Yukine and Hiyori are also fantastic characters

I absolutely wish I'd read this earlier. The art is grim and I miss a little of Yato's silliness, but the manga is so much more nuanced. 9/10 stars, would recommend.
