This book was a 5-star book until the last 30~45 minutes.

The book is amazing, the writing is phenomenal, the plot is so fun (every day i was missing the book) and the characters are endearing. I don’t remember much of pride and prejudice but this felt like a perfect book regardless.

The narrator of the audiobook was just perfect, too! The way she voiced different characters distinctly made it easy to follow through, and it made sense for each to sound the way they did; her narration wasn’t just different voices for different characters, but it was voice-acting where every character was obviously well-studied and their voicing had different mannerisms.

Lastly, my only problem was with the ending; it felt underwhelming and dragged. I love books which show life after the ending/epilogues, however, with The Bennet Women there wasn't enough of a time-skip to feel the feeling epilogues give, and it was just a lot of mellow moments where nothing major happens.

Also, I felt like there wasn't enough focus on the Bennet house, it was definitely there, but I didn't feel like the effects of its existence were integral to the story’s progression, they constantly mentioned it and its community, but there were few moments where I felt like it was really here.

At the end of the day, however, this book has definitely become one of my favourites and I will be recommending it to you and my friends xx
