How to Ruin Everything by George Watsky

5.0

I wish I could be unbiased with this review but I can't. George Watsky's music has made an impact in my life since I first saw him perform in Omaha a year or so ago. When I saw that he was writing a collection of short essays I had little doubt that it wasn't going to be fantastic.

My favorite aspect of How to Ruin Everything is how makes stories that might not initially be relatable to everyone become a story they can make personal ties to. I won't give away any details to the short stories but each one of them shows how talented this young man is. They combine a lot different emotions and I was constantly nodding my head along with the words here as I do his music.
