Overall, I liked this! It’s a solid billionaire, brothers best friend trope romance that is great at foreshadowing the next books in the series.
I appreciated that it was sexy without being full on super spicy smutty.
A few of the twists were ones I actually didn’t guess and they surprised me in a good way.
I took away one star because I wish this had been broken into two books. Sometimes the narrative jumps too far ahead and we miss some perspectives for events that I would have liked to have. The author packs A LOT into this novel and it does get a bit sloppy in terms of plot development.
Overall 4 stars. I enjoyed the hyperbolic cheese and the darkness of our male protagonist, Alex. I enjoyed how multi-faceted Ava is.
