Mercy and Her Devils by Rosemary A. Johns
2.0
The idea is there but the small details is what messes this book up. If it was hammered out again with a editor or a peer group I could easily see this being one of the better ABO stories I've read.
That being said, there are a ton of problems.
-Things seem so disjointed I found myself getting confused on how much time had passed.
-Then you get the Alphas who are.. random at best and weirdly forced on you as a working group but the "chief" alpha could have easily been written out all together and it would have been fine 🤷♀️
-Don't forget about the male omega losing his daughter and like hardly ever crying about it unless it's relevant to the story.
-No multiple point of view so you really gotta guess what's going on in some of the guys heads.
-Sunshine "psychopath" murderer trope but the guy wears scarfs? Like all the time? Idk it gave me the ick. But he was more into the male omega than the FMC omega so I gave it a pass.
-3/4 guys wearing suits even though they're in a log cabin mansion in the woods- hiding from the government. It just doesn't make sense.
