Boring as fuck. Took me forever to get through, and I felt like I didn’t know the characters on a deeper level. There was no connection, no development that allowed me to really connect with each one. I DID not get the draw to the general, I thought he was fine but like…. Idk if the author just isn’t into writing romantic relationships but he left a. Lot to be desired. Like when they finally had sex it felt like it came out of left field??? Like there was no brooding, no small moments, just nothing from him and the main character was attracted to him but he was literally giving her nothing. Debated on reading book two but hoping this new guy gives me what I NEED! I need TENSION!
