I am… conflicted. This was insane and the whole time I was reading all I could think was, this is giving psychosis and also the husband is horrible. As a mom, this was hard for me because I felt so bad for the little boy and I was pissed off because he should not have to live like that. The ending was so unrealistic and all the animal abuse was just unnecessary. Honestly this book really irritated me. I am only giving 2 stars because there were so many relatable quotes in the midst of all the chaos.
