This story takes place in two different timelines - 1900 and present day.  It focuses on Daniel and his daughter Caitlyn who have lost their wife and mother in an accident on there way home from visiting the home they were planning on moving into.  Through journal entries, we learn about who lived in that house and what happened there.

For a ghost story, it wasn’t very scary or gripping. It was interesting! I can say that if it had been a story only about that 1900 timeline it would have been more awesome in my opinion!  For the most part, it felt incomplete for me somehow.

I would say give it a read though if you like ghost stories!
