final thoughts: I would say this is easily The best book In this series up until now And sadly it is not part of the main Trilogy I believe it is a separate series of his own so I wouldn't even consider it part of the initial Trilogy and if I read that initial Trilogy on its own as a standalone series I don't think I would have been motivated Enough To move on to this one Neither would I have even thought highly of this Series and its world. Well to be honest I was motivated enough to move on to this one but that was because I had just finished from the high of reading the initial Trilogy if I had given it like a week or two more or three I probably would not have picked up this book which would have been a damn shame because now I'm really invested in this world And the mechanisms the characters things like that I also want to say that Me being invested in this world doesn't mean I am suddenly into space Opera I still am not because most of the parts I enjoyed in this book were about characters like Lyria and Lysander Who Not really following part of his Space War and space drama Opera the closest person to the space Opera was really lysander whereas Lyria felt more Urban sci-fi fantasy And I really liked her theme of Terrorism and how terrorism is not a good thing and the effect it can have on The average population Which is ironic because it is coming from a man who supports another terrorist group called Israel but what do I know. I also want to just add a little side note which is I love how the women in this Book Seemingly matured more than their previous book I felt like in the previous book they were more just in the back burners just giving opinions and basically Just talking more than they were acting But in this book they actually put their money where their Mouths were Especially Victra She did well with that Police chase All in all I feel like this is actually What I expected when people were bringing up the Red Rising series this is what I expected it to seem like this Grand Epic Multifaceted political space Opera and Now only in the fourth book is it actually delivering on what was promised at the same time I am really sceptical because It's like if it takes three books For us to get to the Parts where I actually start enjoying the book like you will lose a lot of readers but at the same time I'm not complaining because the book has finally gotten Good and with that being said Thank you that was my complete rant on this story And how much Would I Recommend it to other Readers? that depends Because It's really a question of is it worth going through Three mundane boring books Just to read one good book That depends on how Jobless you are honestly but That is not to say that this book Isn't fitting for anyone It's just not fitting for people who are more busy and like a light read this is more deeper Stuff and if I wasn't Having a free time right now like if I was in school or something this would have been something that would have really gotten me Like straight out of Reading And not interested anymore So all in all this book is just best for a specific type of people at a specific time
P.S: why did it take me up until four books in to realise their names are always written with the chemical suffixes of their colours, corresponding to an element on the periodic table.
