I didn’t realize this was a Christian publisher until I checked the reviews — it’s not overtly religious, although very clean.
That being said, it’s attempting to moralize on phone addiction/social media with SO little nuance. It’s not that I necessarily think the points are wrong, it’s that the delivery is so blatant it feels like an after school special.
However, Mina is the best and Zaiah was… fine, if not a bit generic. The plot crawled in the middle, but landed pretty well.
