If I have read this book three years ago, I'd give it a 5 star rating in an instant! But, having read all sorts of different reads and going through different genres every month due to my book club and my #bookstagram friends, my mind seems to have developed some weird sense of tolerance. So, I kinda expected more of this one. Not that it wasnt weird and creepy, and totally out there..it was. But my twisted mind expected it to be even more so.
That being said, I did love this book. It has sex, a lot of it, it has a good story, and as any other CoHo book, you will devour it in a day, because the tension she creates and the way she writes are just unbelieavable.
Since it was the authors first attempt in the dark romance/suspense, I applaud it as a great start. And I hope she will continue in this genre and she wont be afraid to go even darker, even deeper. We want it and we can handle it!
