Take those content warnings seriously, folks! Andrew Joseph White has shed the restraints of YA, and oh boy does he shine.
I can't predict how this will land for a general audience. It's almost decadent in it's grossness. It managed to hit on way too many of my personal horrors. Some of them felt scooped directly from my brain.
Stories like these are important. They're especially important in a post-Roe world that's also inexplicably hostile towards trans people.
