Nalini Singh has created such an amazing world with her Psy-Changeling series. Her world has such depth and her characters draw me in with each story that I just can’t get enough. I am actually happy that I discovered this series late because it means I can grab and glom through so many stories. Each story does build from the last so I do not recommend reading this as a standalone but this series is worth it so go back to the beginning.
Ashaya has been hiding in the world of the Psy, burying her emotions deep to save the son that she shouldn’t care about. She finds a way to save him and other children but must cut herself off from the Psy Net and possibly lose her life. DarkRiver sniper Dorian doesn’t know what it is about Ashaya but he admires this woman who put her life on the line for children. As they work to take down the Psy responsible for endangering human children a danger from Ashaya’s past tracks them. Can the trust and blossoming love that this Psy and Changeling have developed save them? Fun read, can’t wait to continue the series!
