4.5

From the very first page, I was invested. The way the author started the book was perfection. She put me right in the middle of what was going down. From then on, I was flipping pages faster and faster, wanting to figure out all the secrets Paris had. Boy, did she have a lot! One of my only issues with the book was the amount of backstory. It got tedious, but I pressed on. Once everything came to fruition, the amount of backstory made sense. Though, it did give away the huge plot twist. I still enjoyed it. And there was one more plot twist to be had, but it also didn't come as a surprise. I liked the ending and it resolved everything brought up in the story.
