You’ll like this book if you like - enemies to lovers -fantasy politics -hunger game vibes
In this book you follow Oraya who is a human living in a vampire country. Her whole life she was trained to win the Kejari: a tournament held by the goddess of death to grant the winner a wish. As friendships turn into love and hidden truths become answers Oraya faces many challenges outside of winning a tournament that vampires are her competition.
I enjoyed this book and was a quick read for me. The ending definitely disappointed me which is why I rated it 4 stars. I would have much rather cut off the last few chapters because now I’m not really excited to get into the 2nd book. The book ended as if it’s a stand alone book. Through the rest of the read though I loved the hunger games almost aspect of it and really enjoyed the enemies to lovers (however I don’t think a full 20 min chapter needs to be dedicated to one sexy scene but some may). I would recommend this book.
