I read this book long before I read this version, but this version was a gift to me from my cousin. And it brought back such fond memories of that series.

It was always one of my favorites as a kid, magic, animals, avalon? All wrapped up in one book? Perfect!

And the new illustrations are gorgeous, as is the cover!

I've never finished the series, but I would love to one day.
