My first foray into manga is a resounding success. This sweet, thoughtful story uses the unlikely premise of a letter from the future to explore the cumulative impact of friendship, family, and love, and lovingly, carefully show the development of adolescent identity. Plus, the romance is sweet, the friendships are "improbably wonderful", and the art is on point.

Obviously, I'm in. Where's the second volume at?!
