Something Worth Saving by Chelsea Landon

5.0

Let me introduce you to Aubrey. She's a spunky gal who lives a full life. She loves her kids Jayden and Gracie and her boyfriend Jace.Aubrey had a rough childhood and when she was old enough she left her hometown and started over in Seattle. As luck would have it Jace also relocated to Seattle and they were able to reconnect as adults. Her sister Lauren joined her a few years later.
Aubery does her best to be a good person: a good friend, a good Mom even though she didn't have one, she tries to be a good role model for her kids and she really wants to be a good partner for Jace, but her past sometimes makes her doubt herself, and like all of us she is not perfect, some days she feels very far from it. In spite of that she keeps pushing herself forward. There is a growing distance between her and Jace and she isn't sure how to fix it and they can't seem to talk about it. As you might expect life gets between them when her family comes into town which ups the tension between them, but when tragedy strikes to close for Jace's comfort how will they find a way to keep moving forward? The characters are genuine and real and make this an engaging read.
