An interesting story about a rich family that spends their summer on a island. It was twisted and the writing style is a one-of-a-kind one. At first, I was very confused by the plot and all of the characters, because there were so many different ones. I thought the main character dated her cousin ๐๐, but she doesnโt.
It was interesting to see all the problems that come with having to maintain the perfect image of your ancestors and the pressure and jealousy that comes with it.
The book was very hard to get into and most of the time I was confused, but in the end it all made sense.
Loved tho that the book had a map and a family tree so my stupid ass could look and understand the surroundings ( the family was hella confusing tho)
Average book, but with a major plot twist and some great life lessons.
