Until the End of the World by Sarah Lyons Fleming

2.0

This is not a zombie book. So if you are looking for one, don't read this. Cassie is going to break up with her boyfriend Peter. She is still pining after an old love. Adrian. Peter's rich, shallow ways were never a good fit. Even if Cassie could see the good in him from time to time. A virus is making people attack each other around the world. When it hits NYC, Cassie and her friends (Penny-her childhood friend, James-Penny's new boyfriend, Nelly, and Ana-Penny's spoiled brat sister) leave the city. With Peter in tow. There is a LOT of unnecessary details in this book Cassie's chipped toenail posh. Banter. Various scenes written to convey how close Cassie and Penny are. How long they've known each other. Flashbacks of her and Adrian. It was all too much. Peter and Ana? WHOA. They were thoroughly unlikable. Aaannnddd no one called them on their bs? Not likely. Cassie wasn't a very likable character either. She was somewhat immature. But,still not as bad as those two. There were a few scenes that got my hopes up (with villains, and zombie overflow). But, this was not what I expected.
