I loved getting to know Angie and her world of study, friends, and family. But I found it impossible to root for her and Ricky. To the point where I wondered if this was actually a romance novel. Ricky was the epitome of if he wanted to he would. And he didn't.
Ugh, if this guy was dating my friend I'd tell her to run for the hills.

When it came to the hard stuff he ghosted instead of fighting for their relationship or even having a conversation. Even the meet cute raised massive red flags. The guy at the end of the book is not the same one we see for 90% of the book.

This book would have been fantastic without Ricky.
