Murder at the Museum by Alasdair Beckett-King

funny lighthearted mysterious

A great book - whimsical, funny and clever. I don't read much junior fiction apart from my own childhood favourites, but the author is a comedian who I really like so I decided to try it. I'm glad I did, because there's a lot here that an adult can appreciate. If you enjoy puns and wordplay, gently subversive humour, and loving (and hilarious) homages to classic detective fiction, then you will also love this book. Oh, and the mystery is pretty great too.
