Another book that I saw raved upon on social media and was weary to start. I was averse to the idea of aliens and what that entails, but the aliens' similarities to human bodies made it not as gross as I anticipated. As someone who does not read sci-fi, the sci-fi elements in this book was fascinating. It was quite intense in the first chapter with the rape scene and torture-like environment. I understand why Vektal and the male sa'qwi (not sure how it's spelled as I listened to the book) are overly enthused at the word of female humans , but it did feel weird.
I like the realistic-ness of body hair on Georgie's body. The third nipple is funny.
