Mort
by Terry Pratchett
Having only read Moving Pictures and Going Postal I wasn't sure what to expect. Both of those were a fun imagination of "what if [real world thing] but fantasy" and they were joyful but I was looking for something that has a different beat.
This definitely did that. It had the same touch of absurdity, and self awareness, that make his novels such a joy. It also had a true sense of adventure that made it exciting to read along. It at many points bordered on the philosophical.
Always a joy to read and I'm having real fun learning about this world Terry Pratchett has created.
