Such a cute book! I loved the friendship dynamics in this book and how they tackle everything together. I was just a sophomore in high school, so I could relate to plenty in this book but I wish I had read this at a younger age when periods were very new to me. When I first got my period, I was not very informed on how to use pads and my mom would never talk about it with me, so I would leak a lot. In this book, I could relate to Sasha's experience because something similar has happened to me multiple times. It felt super refreshing to read something where periods are discussed normally and proudly and not in a gross or humorous way. Media like this is so important and I will always advocate and promote books like these for young kids and teens who experience a menstrual cycle. This book has my heart and I learned so many new things along the way.
