Poor Itsumi fell right into Ren's hands... or acting. The acting sequence is a little confusing no matter how many times I read it. The only way the huge shift in Katsuki's emotions makes sense is if I imagine it like a soap opera or a k-drama where there is just so much drama. So that's what I try to do. I also laughed so much at the happy laughing scenes. Lori's reaction to finding out Kyoko was that one Ren was in love with makes me so happy. He just understands immediately that Ren hates himself so of course he would fall in love with a girl who refuses to love ever again.
