rosie and ford had such a great banter since the beginning, the whole childhood frenemies and then as adults after a decade without seeing each other they go back to normal and like no time has passed, they still are mean to each other (in a funny bantery way haha obviously) then ford always being in love with rosie was magnificent, her not noticing was also funny but she could be mean to him but as soon as someone talked bad to him or about him she was there to defend him with all she has and i think that's beautiful!!!!
ford is such a grump and kinda closed off but deep down he loves deeply and cares so much and always protects the one he truly loves and he's a little nerdy man ehehe I love it! rosie is also happy and kind and not wanting to hurt anyone but still could kill you if you hurt the people she cares the most about and they just complete each other
cora a twelve year old, ford's daughter who he meets when she's at his door claiming to be his daughter creates such a strong bond with ford and they connect deeply through music and it was so good to see, also she ends up getting closer to rosie, how rosie ends up picking her up from school and they connect, it was amazing!
rosie's brother and ford's best friend west was s comic relief in the book, wish i had more scenes with him but oh god the bowling team he created?? so funny i just can't! also loved how he totally knew ford was so down bad for his little sister, how she was always oblivious about ford's feelings and then as adults she finally realises ford it's the man of her dreams, how he truly is someone who challenges her and how she challenges him and god they complete each other like perfection, so west saw all that for sure and it was fun how ford was always so afraid to tell him the full truth haha i am glad west's reaction was that and not like mad or something
idk every single character in this book eat and seeing willa how i missed her!! and the sneak peak of west's book? skylar and him are also going to be so funny and i can tell the banter it's going to be a killer so im so so excited!!
im so glad i finally read them and im so so in love with them, my annotations says totally that and i had so much fun!! rosie finally founding her place and being the happiest!!
