Gin and Daggers by Jessica Fletcher, Donald Bain

5.0

This was an excellent mystery. I really appreciate to that when she does something dumb, she chastises herself for it. Yay! A sensible person! Excellent start to this very long series (42 books I hear).

In this story, Jessica goes to London not only to visit her friend, a world renown mystery writer, but also to speak at a mystery writer's conference.

The only strange inclusion I found in this story was the police chief coming right away to support Jessica. Honestly, most people in Maine do not travel outside their state, much less out of the country. How would he happen to have a passport to be able to instantly travel? That was really the only hokey part that bugged me.
