I don't know where to start with this book. You know when you read something so good, you have no choice but to read it out loud. This is one of those books that needs, begs, hopes, asks, yells to be read out loud. There is no other way it will hit home for you. It's dark and it's heavy, but it's still relevant today. This tells the story of seven women who experience racism and oppression in a society that was built against them.
