I thought this was really cute. I'm a sucker for any sort of love story involving cooking or baking so this book naturally called to me. I thought the overall relationship was cute and I liked the battle of the wills in the restaurant setting.
It's a relatively fast paced story (and relationship). While I prefer a bit of a slower pacing in this type of story, it's not exactly a bad thing and I know others will enjoy it.
My two big complaints are that I wish we had seen more of their relationships with their friends and family and that we saw more of the cooking show/competition world. Both are big plot points in the book. Each MC has their complicated relationships (outside of each other) and I would have liked to see those explored a bit more. The same goes for the cooking competition/show. It's such a big element of the book yet we only get snippets. I would have loved to see it more.
