I liked getting the POV of Briseis on this classic tale. The book contained many reflections on the role of women in the Iliad. While she was mostly inactive I think it reflected how little options the women had. Would have liked to get more POVs or more interactions with other women rather than the focus on Achilles' story (though the book itself reflected on why there was a focus on it). For the Achilles part I kind of just wanted to read The Song of Achilles instead. Overall I think this was an interesting take on the story that didn't quite reach its full potential. I really liked the audiobook narrator.
