angus_murchie 's review for:
Slaughterhouse-Five
by Kurt Vonnegut
Quite possibly the oddest book I’ve ever read. Very short, utterly readable, very thought provoking. I’m not sure how well equipped I am to write any sort of meaningful or worthwhile review, it’s just so strange and intriguing. I’ll have to have a think…
Ok, I’ve done some thinking and I still can’t really add anything useful. All I will say is that I really love the idea of every moment in time - past, future or present - still happening, always having happened, always will happen and that if you can perceive the time dimension properly then you can choose to dip in and out of any part of your life at any “time”, but for your own sanity it makes sense to stick to the nicer parts.
