Irena's Children: The Extraordinary Story of the Woman Who Saved 2,500 Children from the Warsaw Ghetto by Tilar J. Mazzeo

dark emotional informative fast-paced

2.5

A bit speculative at points, more fluff than I care for in a nonfiction book. When I’m reading about something that actually happened I don’t like to read a bunch of “perhaps” which happened quite a bit, sometimes with inconsequential details like when Irena and Adam met. This was a very interesting story though, one I had never heard before, and it makes me want to learn more about the Holocaust.
