Damn, I seem to be in the minority here, but I thought this took a sharp downward turn. I honestly found Henry to be infuriatingly selfish and unlikable, and Mac's decisions were so freaking stupid they strained credulity. Some decent bones, but I honestly was rooting for them both to stop making choices that made no damn logical sense, and had zero interest in them being together. On the fence if I'll even both with the final book despite this one ending on a cliff hanger. I don't know if I'm in the mood to scream with frustration again.
