Falling for Your Best Friend by Emma St. Clair

4.0

Do you enjoy reading or listening to romances about real people with real challenges?

Loved this latest audiobook by Emma St. Clair! Two people who have been friends for years both are secretly pining for one another. Bolstering his courage, Chase decides to lay his feelings bare one more time. But when Harper suddenly breaks off a magical kiss and runs away, he questions everything about what he thought he knew and struggles to imagine his world without Harper.

Harper thinks there’s something wrong with her. She’s always struggled with physical touch. She’s been desperately in love with Chase for years, but what if she can’t endure the physical intimacy.

I loved Harper and Chase. Harper is neurodivergent and I appreciated the way the author made her struggles real for me. Harper’s friends and especially Chase are so supportive of her and want to see her find happiness.

Filled with humor, a baby goat, swoon worthy romance (the tent scene!), and heartfelt moments, this book is definitely one you’ll want to listen to.

I should say the audiobook is amazing. I love the narrators and the way they bring all of the characters to life.

I received this audiobook from the author. All opinions are my own and I was not required to provide a positive review.
