The author Aldous Huxley definitely had repressed sexuality based on his writing here.  Thought there would be a realization of connection with the "savages" once they went to speak with them, but instead it leans into racist tropes against indigenous folks.  The book touches on racism dividing people, but then reinforces it.  It also reinforced sexual morality of women defining their worth.  So book is dated because of racist, sexist, and fat phobic tropes, but other dystopian content still stands up today.
