Girls and Their Horses
by Eliza Jane Brazier
“Anyone who didn’t believe in magic had never ridden a horse.”
Not only did this book have a fun thriller aspect to it, but it had so much depth. This book discussed the intricacies of motherhood, friendship, and growing up. But, above all, it was a love letter to horses. As an equestrian, I was immediately sucked in and couldn’t put it down. The horse world sometimes has a very bad reputation for being full of rich, catty women. This book used that stereotype to its advantage while also highlighting the wonderful things about the horse world.
