The Cockroach by Ian McEwan

3.0

A cockroach wakes up in the body of the British prime minister in this Kafka reversal. And reversalism is the economic policy being pushed by an almost complete cabinet of cockroaches turned ministers. Yes, the satire is a bit thick. I smiled quite a bit while reading and at about 100 pages it was not a struggle to read but ultimately I think it misses the mark.
