Dual POV. First person past tense.
Early on I figured out a piece of the mystery and was bummed. Luckily, I didn’t know the rest, so was satisfied with mystery. Romance is settled earlier, which I liked after I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. It gives them on-page time to deepen the relationship before it’s tested by outside forces (mystery) in the third act.
